But the current figure is unrelentingly rising, now reaching
3,315,861, which is another massive increase since this morning.

So Brexiteers who are concerned about the petition's validity may rest
assured that any fraud(sters) will be dealt with.

Only because it is being plugged by the left wing media.

There are direct links to it on such "unbiased" sites as ITN's main web page.

The petition is stupid, as I pointed out earlier - and has been signed by unintelligent losers.

17 million voted Brexit.

You lost.

Get over it.

Do you deny that Parliament must debate the petition now?

Yes, as it happens.

http://www.parliament.uk/business/committees/committees-a-z/commons-select/petitions-committee/role/

"The Petitions Committee is set up by the House of Commons to look at
e-petitions submitted on petition.parliament.uk and public (paper)
petitions presented to the House of Commons.

"The Petitions Committee can:

ask for more information in writing—from petitioners, the
Government, or other relevant people or organisations

ask for more information in person—from petitioners, the Government,
or other relevant people or organisations. This might be in
Parliament or somewhere else in the UK

write to the Government or another public
body to press for action on a petition

ask another parliamentary committee to look into the topic raised
by a petition

put forward petitions for debate in the House of Commons"

Note 'can', not 'must'. Why don't you *ever* do any homework?

Don't be obtuse. 'Yes', as in: 'yes, I deny it'. There is no compulsion,
and I offered you a link describing the committee that decides whether
MPs will discuss a petition.

If they were to debate it, you know what the conclusion would be.

OK, you probably don't. Think about it. If an Internet phone-in can be
allowed to invalidate a referendum, conducted under electoral
conditions, than such a thing by definition can also invalidate a
General Election. Can you see the HoC going for that?

The debate will probably last half an hour, before the idea being thrown out.
