TONY Blair is preparing to abandon Labour as a lost cause and set up a new political
party for disillusioned moderates in anticipation of a crushing election defeat,
it has been reported.
I think many people expected that to happen. But since Corbyn has
managed to convince people that he achieved a stunning surprise victory,
those people who were expected to leave are hanging on to his
coat-tails. Of course, they may get kicked out anyway, if they don't
toe the line.

No idea. ISTM that his position is secure. Even the BBC are on his
side now that he's confounded their plotting. Unless the tories
organise themselves, which they seem reluctant to do, I see only a
socialist apocalypse heading our way.

It'll be interesting to see, that's for sure. He seems to have the
young on his side, and these young aren't buying houses and settling
down to a contended, slightly more 'right-wing' existence. Maybe that's
part of the plan of those who favour much immigration? Maintain the
high cost of housing, so that young people remain disaffected. There
seem to be lots of ways that people are being prevented/discouraged from
growing up these days. I've even grown suspicious of Peter Pan and the
