That’s the thing about being Prime Minister. There are some questions you
answer and some you don’t. What about a freephone helpline for benefit
claimants? “Universal Credit is a better, simpler system,” she said
today. How would you vote in a new Brexit referendum? “I don’t answer
hypothetical questions,” she said yesterday.

Yet last year she was asked, hypothetically, “Are you prepared to
authorise a nuclear strike that could kill hundreds of thousands of men,
women and children?”. She replied: “Yes.”

At least Theresa and Donald are in the same Conservative bed, so there can be no objections.

Whereas the so-called socialist Tony Blair was an ecstatic puppy rolling on its back for a tickle from the arch Conservative Dubya Bush.

Maybe you're right: that's the thing about being a British prime minister --- you are automatically in love with whoever rules the USA.

A caller to Iain Dale's LBC phone-in yesterday referred to the PM as
'Maggie May' - and we all know what SHE was.

You say we all know but I didn't. I've looked her up now but I had no
idea. I remember from childhood that she no longer walked down Lime
Street ... but didn't know why she walked there in the first place. ;-)

Nah the shutyermouth, what have you to astound us with this morning?

Why should she? It's her business. She votes as Theresa May and not as the UK Prime Minster or leader of the Tory party. The question you should be asking is whether she follows the democratic mandate she has been given?

Well, that is the purpose of nuclear weapons. It's called deterrence through mutually assured destruction. I don't think she makes any claim to be a unilateralist. Corbyn does! As well as treating any terrorist who has evil designs on this country or its allies as though he were a threatened species.
